ORTO
It is a complex system of observation and study of the Sun in a broad spectrum of electromagnetic radiation - Solar Observatory.
The basis of the system is computer-guided, robotized, autonomous assembly type Meade LX 200, to track the apparent movement of the sun in the sky. A special adapter on it are placed opto-electronic components - solar telescopes and cameras to observe and study the Sun in different parts of the electromagnetic spectrum. The three telescopes for observation and recording of which one of the viewable area EMS, H-alpha field and even field. The fourth telescope with associated filter the sun and the camera is designed for positioning and motion correction of tracking the sun in the sky. Antenna steering assembly and receiver computers and exists as a separate module ORTO system.
Everything was put together on massive pillars. These devices are appropriate cables connected to an electrical outlet and the computer center management system, recording, processing and archiving data.
ORTO fully robotised system with activation and processing of these data and the Internet (Phase II).
The system is designed for education and scientific research.
Capacity of the system enables you to easily upgrade or redevelopment for other purposes. For example, placing a new module (telescope and camera) to explore the impact of meteorites on the moon in an existing installation we get one of the few such systems in the world. In this way ORTO observes the sun during the day and at night - the moon.
In addition ORTO has scalability over time and with other instruments.
In addition to the visual components of the system ORTO includes ortho-UE, the radio-astronomical device for solar research in the field of radio waves. Prototype versions of this device have been successfully tested in 2005. and 2006. year.
Exhaustively list of capital equipment of ortho. Of course, even here we should not forget the man as a key factor without whose curiosity, willingness, desire and work there would be no need for the research and observations. The system is in the process of equipping! Temporary use elements VSX NEXT, NEXT and EXO ROBOT system (and others) for the ortho.
