EXO NEXT
EXO NEXT is designed for Vidulini Observatory as a unique research system for the detection and investigation of new objects and phenomena in the sky.
Support of computer-guided, autonomous robotic assembly type Meade LX 200 telescope Meade SCT-12 ", and specially designed astronomical CCD camera SBIG ST-7XME daily recording will be made (Astronomy-Astrophysics photometric measurements) of celestial objects in the search for new planets and ekstrasolarnm research already known.
EXO NEXT is fully robotised system with activation and processing of these data and the Internet (Phase II).
The system is designed to serve young people and prosperity for scientific research and education. It would have opportunities to work and students and scholars from both Croatian and foreign countries, under the supervision of project manager. EXO Next is a broad spectrum of options, great practical usefulness, and nadogradljivosti over time, whose work makes a significant contribution to world science, and therefore Croatia.
