The temporary astronomical observatory, which is from 01 to 07th August was installed at the National Center for Technical Culture in Kraljevica (NCTK) revealed two previously unknown variable stars!

This year, the first workshop held in astronomical NCTK in Kraljevica in agreement with Mr.. Markotić and Mrs.. Dujmovic the Croatian Association for Technical Culture was conceived to be temporarily installed in Kraljevica real astronomical observatory. The aim of the workshop was the training of young astronomers to a practical and theoretical work in the field of exploration and discovery of variable stars, planets around other stars, meteor astronomy, light pollution monitoring, automated weather stations and program implementation of the project Astronautics.

Workshop leaders and participants of these discoveries are in the best possible job done astronomical targeted workshops, and workshop participants have also gained new knowledge and skills that will enable them to next year and become mentors themselves much more numerous astronomical workshops for elementary and secondary schools.
The value of these findings is perhaps best illustrated by the fact that in our country to start work in this area AUV detected only two variable stars!

These findings, the total number of newly discovered variable stars with Vidulin Observatory reached a figure of 75 world-class discoveries! The system of research and discovery of variable stars (VSX NEXT) is precisely modified during the workshop in Kraljevica and soon moves his ongoing use and operation.

As a curiosity we mention both the robotic system VSX NEXT due to lack of equipment must be installed in Kraljevica the sewer manhole (!) In order to prevent vibrations which are one of the biggest problems is extremely precise positioning of equipment in these observations.
